We do our best to answer your questions when you are with us, but we are aware that sometimes questions occur after you leave our office. That is why we have come up with a list of frequent questions and answers. These answers provide information about our practice, procedures, and philosophy.
How long is a new patient visit? What will happen?
Your first appointment with us will take about one hour. A member of our front-office team provides you with the necessary paperwork and discusses the reasons for your visit. Then you are escorted to a treatment room to meet the Dental Hygienist treating you. After discussing your medical and dental history, the Hygienist will take some X-rays as needed. The Hygienist will then start the process of cleaning your teeth. The dentist will them come in and do a thorough exam of your mouth and you will also receive an oral cancer screening. The dentist will explain findings, answer all of your questions, and discuss treatment recommendations.
Do you accept my insurance plan?
Our office accepts a large number of insurance companies. We will gladly file your insurance claim and work with your insurance company to expedite processing and maximize your benefits. Our team is knowledgeable about dental insurance plans and coverage, and we are more than happy to discuss your plan with you prior to any treatments.
What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?
During business hours, contact our office to be seen immediately. If your dental emergency occurs after our office is closed, there will be a dentist on call to answer your concerns. You can get the on call dentist by dialing our main number and listing to the entire recording.

Crowns, Implants, veneers, partials⦠what are these?
We use different techniques to restore weak, broken, chipped, discolored, and/or crooked teeth.
For example, Crowns are sometimes called caps and we use them to restore damaged and root canalled teeth . A crown helps protects a tooth after a large area of decay has been removed and filled.
Some decayed or damaged surface chewing areas nor not require a root canal or a crown, we may recommend veneers or fillings.
Some teeth are very decayed that they cannot be saved and have to be removed that is when we recommend implants or partials for replacing the missing teeth.
